That went of track quickly...
Back to the game. I have it set up on my iPhone and my girlfriend plays it on an Android tablet. The iOS and Android versions seem identical and you can add friends across versions. It is the standard time management game, but with characters you already know. You are building a Springfield back up after Homer destroys it (he is playing a time management game on his tablet when he does.) Building it back up means you save resources and build buildings. Most of the buildings come with characters. Then you give the characters tasks to do, go away for a while, come back and collect from the characters tasks and from the buildings. Early you get some of the standards, Homer, Lisa, Apu, Milhouse, Krusty. Keep playing and the cast expands. I just got the Sea Captain, a few characters before that I got Nelson. Each new character has a set of mostly different jobs so every time you get a character, it freshens up the game. I am still kind of excited that every four hours I can make Nelson laugh at people.
The best part of the game in my opinion: The sound bytes.
The worst part of the game in my opinion: The donuts are pricey.
This is a fun game and has reminded me how much I liked The Simpsons. I think I might have to catch up with a couple of episodes on Hulu. Even if it means that I have to do it on a laptop.
Now I just need to save up some money to build the news building so I can get Kent Brockman. I hope one of his tasks is "welcoming our new insect overlords."
